'i' give up!!

I am not a tech savvy gal. OK, so I can use a computer, mobile phone - tick, but if it has an "i" in front of it I struggle. A couple of months ago a friend of mine was kind enough to give me her old ipod, she having no need of it after upgrading to the iphone. It has taken me this long to be able to put anything on it; but must say am slowly warming to the thing - my only problem now is finding enough music I like to fill it up! Oh, and if anyone knows how to download a podcast I will be in debt to you forever!
